2. How We Handle Corrections

Our editorial approach depends on the nature of the error:

• Factual Errors: If a factual error is identified (e.g., incorrect names, dates, statistics, or misquotes), we will update the article immediately. A clear “Editor’s Note” or “Correction” will be appended to the bottom of the article (or the top, depending on severity) explaining exactly what was changed and when.

3. Retraction Policy

In rare cases where a story is found to be fundamentally flawed, fabricated, or legally compromised, BuzzWire Daily will issue a formal retraction.

The original headline will be modified to start with “RETRACTION:”. The original text may be removed or struck through, replaced with an explanation of why the story was retracted. This measure is reserved for severe breaches of editorial standards.
