Adin David Ross said on a recent livestream that he plans to stop streaming by 2027. The 25-year-old Kick streamer claimed he has made very close to $1 billion in his career and wants to focus on the future. He also said he is looking to move to Croatia very soon to start a family.
A roughly 37-second clip of the remarks, posted by the account @backndfendi on X on Aug. 1, 2026, shows Ross speaking from his usual setup. Neon Rainbet and Polymarket signs appear behind him.
Ross was born Oct. 11, 2000, in Boca Raton, Florida, to Mark Ross and Jayne Frankel. He first gained attention streaming NBA 2K and Grand Theft Auto V on Twitch. After multiple bans on that platform, including a permanent suspension in February 2023 for hateful conduct after he displayed unmoderated chat filled with racist and antisemitic comments, he became one of Kick’s biggest names. Twitch lifted the ban in March 2025. Kick has stayed his main home.
He has talked openly about five-figure hourly rates on Kick and sponsorships with online gambling companies, including a reported multi-year deal with Rainbet. Outside estimates of his net worth this year usually land between $20 million and $40 million. Those figures include big real estate buys such as a $25.5 million Florida estate and the $1.3 million house used for exteriors in the television series Breaking Bad, which he closed on in Albuquerque, New Mexico, earlier in 2026.
The near-$1 billion career total he mentioned has not been independently confirmed. Ross has pushed back before on inflated personal wealth claims, telling viewers he does not have $100 million and is nowhere close, even on paper.
The latest comments fit a pattern of retirement talk. In July 2026, while appearing on a stream with creator Lacy, Ross described himself as being on a “retirement arc” and said he might step out. Those remarks sparked discussion but were largely treated as noncommittal at the time.
Ross has three sisters. Madeline Ross died on Jan. 15, 2026, at age 36 in Broward County, Florida. The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the death to TMZ. The cause and manner of death remain pending. Ross and his parents later sued the office in an effort to block the release of related records. Another sister, Naomi Ross, is an influencer who has appeared in his streams.
No additional public details have emerged about the planned move to Croatia or specific family plans beyond what Ross said on the livestream. As of Aug. 2, 2026, he has not released a further statement.
He continues to stream on Kick, where he holds about 1.8 million followers, and runs a YouTube channel with more than 4.6 million subscribers.
