Q50, whose real name is Mikquale Cooper, was gunned down in the early hours of Sunday, September 13, in the Fuller Park neighborhood. Chicago police said a 22 year old man was sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle on the 4200 block of South Wentworth Avenue when two cars pulled alongside and multiple people opened fire, according to Complex’s reporting on the shooting. The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the shoulder and chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have opened a homicide investigation but had not publicly named the victim at the time of reporting.
